Each of these sentences has at least one mistake. Correct them.

  1. I think he will not be able to do that work alone.

II. Think over the following expressions and give your own ideas:

  1. You can’t applaud with one hand. – It’s good to do things by yourself, but it’s better to have company.
  2. Out of sight out of mind. – You don’ t see, you forget.
  3. Never say never. – Things might change or one might change his/her mind.
  4. The sun always shines behind the thickest clouds.- Don’t lose hope, because hope is always behind your fears.
  5. Do not sit in an armchair until lucky days come by themselves. – Don’t laid-back until your work is done and your problems are solved.

III. Try to express these in English. This mathematical language skill will be necessary if you decide to continue your education abroad or at the American University in Yerevan.
